MEET THE TEACHERS

AMY FEAGLE, Director
Hello, my name is Amy Feagle and I am the director at Faith Preschool. I am happily married and the mother of three wonderful boys. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education and have many years of experience working with young children and also with children with special needs. Tutoring children with Autism is also one of my joys! Children are a very important part of my life. I give my very best to put in the extra effort it takes to meet each child's specific needs. These past few years I have been the director here at Faith. I have really enjoyed working in such a positive, Christian environment. I am determined to keep Faith a well respected place for parents to bring their children. I am so happy to be a part of a wonderful preschool. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to teach and make a difference in your child's life.

KARLA SHULTZ , Teacher for three and four year old class
Hello, my name is Karla Shultz and I am the teacher in the 4’s & 3's program here at Faith. I am a married mother of three children who have each attended Faith preschool and keep me very busy being a “soccer mom”. I have 6 years experience working with preschoolers. Five of those years I spent teaching here at Faith and I also spent a year at Pathway School of Discovery as a Kindergarten paraprofessional. I hold an associate degree from Lima Technical College. The children here at Faith have always given me a great deal of joy. They are always eager to learn and try new things! I am dedicated to giving your preschoolers all of the tools that they need to succeed in Kindergarten. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your child.

TERESA SCHEIMAN, Teacher for four year old class
Hello, my name is Teresa Scheiman and I teach four year olds here at Faith.  I am married and have a wonderful son who attends Wayne High School.  My husband and I have lived in the Miami Valley our whole lives.  I am a graduate of Fairborn High School and hold a B.S. from Wright State University.   In addition to my time at Faith, my experience includes seven years as a substitute teacher in Huber Heights City Schools and work as an intervention tutor in Fairborn City Schools.   The students here at Faith are a joy.  I look forward to seeing their faces every morning and watching them grow as we explore new concepts.   The children have reminded me of the great joy there is in learning, no matter what your age!  I appreciate your faith in me and the opportunity you've given me to work with your children.

SUSAN NELSON, Teacher Assistant and Early 5's Teacher
Hi! My name is Susan Nelson. I am very excited to be at Faith Preschool. I worked as an aide for Mrs. Scheiman last year, and will do that again this year. In addition, I will be working with the "Early 5's" class as a teacher on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I grew up in Colorado and California, and made my way to Ohio for college, and stayed! I have a degree in Education, and have taught a broad spectrum of ages. I also have more recently worked as a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center. I live here in Huber Heights with my husband and our 3 children. I am excited to see what God has planned for this school year, and look forward to the fun experiences that come with teaching preschoolers.

MARGARET BELLINGER, Teacher's Aide for four year old class
Hello, my name is Margaret Bellinger and I am a teacher's aide for the 4 year old class. I grew up in Wisconsin and Michigan, and have lived in Ohio for 17 years. I have been happily married for 19 years, and we have three children, all teenagers! I attended Central Michigan University for two years with a concentration in special education and art. I enjoy working with children. While being a stay at home mom, I volunteered at our church preschool program, PTO, Ohio REads, 4 years as a kindergarten aide, and as an assistant girl scout leader. I also taught art for a home-schooled family. I enjoy reading, travel, art museums, decorating, and antiques. I am very excited to be able to work with your chidlren here at Faith Preschool.

KRISTEN THOMAS, Teacher's Aide for three year old class
Hello, my name is Kirsten Thomas, and I will be assisting Mrs. Karla Shultz with the three year olds this year at Faith Preschool. This is my first year at Faith Preschool and I am very excited and feel blessed to be sharing, teaching and learning God's love in and out of the classroom. I am attending Wright State University for Early Child Education (ECE).  I was born in Cleveland, Ohio with my mother, father, older sister, and younger brother, where the majority of my extended family lives to date. My family moved from Cleveland to Huber Heights and I lived there for five years.  I am very familiar with the Huber Heights area and the surroundings and attended the schools in Huber Heights.  My family then later moved to Dayton and that is where I am currently residing.  I attended Fairborn City Schools and graduated from Fairborn High School in 2008. And yes, I am younger, but I have always loved and grew up and helped raise children that were younger than me.  From what I see and know, Faith Preschool is a solid starting point for any family.   I am ready to help teach your children and to learn from your children.  I'm very excited to help shape and use the tools and building blocks necessary to help them in the future.  As they say, "children are the future.” Thank you for this great opportunity.
