MEET THE TEACHERS

AMY FEAGLE, Director
Hello, my name is Amy Feagle. I am a married mother of three boys. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have years of experience working with young children and also with children with special needs. Children are a very important part of my life.  I do my very best to put in the extra effort it takes to meet each child's specific needs. The past couple of years I have been the director here at Faith. I have really enjoyed working in such a positive, Christian environment. I am determined to keep Faith a well respected place for parents to bring their children. I am so happy to be apart of a wonderful preschool.  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to teach and make a difference in your child's life.

BONNIE GEIGER, Teacher for three year old class
Bonnie Geiger is the lead teacher for the three year old classes at Faith Preschool.  She has been teaching preschoolers for 26 years.  Twenty of those years have been at Faith Preschool.   Mrs. Geiger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University with a specialty in Spanish Education.  “ The three year olds are taught through many songs and art activities, stories and learning games.  The look of joy on the faces of young preschoolers when they learn something for the first time is so exciting, and the reason why I continue to teach the 3 year olds here at Faith Preschool.”

KARLA SHULTZ , Teacher for four year old class
Hello, my name is Karla Shultz and I am a teacher in the 4’s program here at Faith. I am a married mother of three children who have each attended Faith preschool and keep me very busy being a “soccer mom”. I have 6 years experience working with preschoolers. Five of those years I spent teaching here at Faith and I also spent a year at Pathway School of Discovery as a Kindergarten paraprofessional. I hold an associate degree from Lima Technical College. The children here at Faith have always given me a great deal of joy. They are always eager to learn and try new things! I am dedicated to giving your preschoolers all of the tools that they need to succeed in Kindergarten. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your child.

TERESA SCHEIMAN, Teacher for four year old class
Hello, my name is Teresa Scheiman and I will be teaching four year olds here at Faith.  I have a terrific husband and one wonderful son.  My husband and I have lived in the Miami Valley our whole lives.  He is a graduate of Wayne High School and Sinclair.  I graduated from Fairborn High School and hold a B.S. from Wright State University.  As an at-home mom, teaching was a natural progression for me when my son became old enough to attend elementary school.  My experience includes seven years as a substitute teacher in Huber Heights City Schools and work as an intervention tutor in Fairborn City Schools.  

The students here at Faith are a joy.  I look forward to seeing their faces every morning and watching them grow as we explore new concepts.  I see the classroom as an opportunity for everyone, including me, to learn and grow.  I truly believe I learn as much from the children as they do from me.  They've taught me to live in the moment and enjoy each day as it unfolds.  They also remind me of the great joy there is in
learning, no matter what your age!  I appreciate your faith in me and the opportunity you've given me to work with your children.

CHRISTINA DOMI, Teacher for three year old class
My name is Christina Domi.  I have many years of experience working with young children.  Last year I was a substitute teacher and teacher assistant.  This year I am working full time at Faith.  I am teaching the threes class and also assisting in one of the fours classes this year.  I am excited to see the children expand their knowledge this year! 

JOAN GROTTLA, Teacher's Aide for three year old class
Hi! My name is Joan Grottla. I was born and raised here in Huber Heights and now I am raising my children here too. I have a Bachelors€™s Degree in Recreation Services. I have spent the last nine years staying home to raise my children. Before that I spent ten years working with people with special needs, teaching educational classes and recreational activities. I am very excited about working with the children at Faith Preschool and I look forward to getting to know all of you!


MALLORY TOLLE, Teacher's Aide for four year old class
Hello, my name is Mallory Tolle. I am the teacher's aide for Mrs.Sheiman's four year old class. I just welcomed a beautiful daughter into my life in May 2008, being a new mom is the most amazing experience! I am a Wayne High School graduate and am still currently living in Huber Heights. I also attend Sinclair Community College and am working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children. Everyday at Faith Preschool brings some new and exciting experience to my life as well as to the students'. It is such a joy to watch the kids develop and explore. What I look forward to the most is developing a special relationship with each child in class and providing them with the gift of being able to learn. I look forward to meeting you all and thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your children.
