Dear Parents,
It is difficult to believe that our school year is coming to an end. Mrs Grottla and I have enjoyed watching your child grow. Thank you for sharing your child with us.
We are hoping to make May an exciting month for the children. The following is a list of fun things we have planned for our last few days at school.
May 1- Sunshine Day
May 6- Make Mothers’ Day gifts
May 8- Alphabet Day Learning about letters
May 13- Outside Day We will be spending most of our day outside. If it should rain, we will have Outside Day on May 10th.
May 15-Dinosaur Day
May 20-Ice cream Day We will help each child to make their own ice cream sundaes
May 22- Blue Day Show & Tell Our Spanish word for blue is “azul”, our Spanish word is El verano (Bare ahn oh)
May 27-Teddy Bear day your child may bring a Teddy Bear to show & Tell
May 29-Class Picnic Both of the 3 yr classes will meet at Carriage Hill Farm shelter. This is also the last time we will be together. All family members are welcome. We are asking each family to bring a type of finger food to share with everyone, and a sandwich for each member of the family attending. We have a list of finger foods posted on the bulletin board in the foyer. Please sign up for one item to bring. The school will provide drinks and cups. If it should rain, we will still try to have lunch together, so dress appropriately. If it should really be thundering and lightening we will unfortunately have to cancel. So think sunshine! We will meet at Carriage Hill at 11:00 . Please meet at the shelter on the left as you enter the Park from State Route 201. After we have eaten, you may feel free to tour the park with your child. PARENTS OR A BABYSITTER MUST ACCOMPANY EACH CHILD TO THE PICNIC.
Thank you all for a fun and very successful year!!!!!!!!! We are very grateful to all of you who have donated items or your time to our school. A special thanks to the room mothers and all who helped with the parties, we couldn’t do it without you! Faith Preschool is a wonderful academic program for Little People and only with help from you are we able to continue to provide this special service to the community! Thank You!
P.S. If you still have registration forms out, please send them in as soon as possible so that we can guarantee your enrollment for next year. Thanks.
