It’s hard to believe that we’ve reached the last month of school. The children have worked so hard and accomplished so much this year. We are very proud of each and every one! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to be a part of their education.
This month will be a busy one here at Faith. We will be talking about the letters B, Q and U, the number 8 and the color yellow. Our shape will be the circle. We will also be discussing Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and outdoor safety. In addition we will be doing lots of preparation for graduation.
On Sunday, May 18, the church would like to recognize the preschool and its students. During the service, the children will be invited to sing two songs which we have been practicing in class. It should be a wonderful experience for all. Please plan to join us at 10:15 a.m.
On Friday, May 23, we would like to invite everyone to join us for a graduation celebration. The ceremony is intended for all students, even those whose parents have made the decision not to move on to kindergarten in the fall. The a.m. class ceremony will be held at 11:00 with friends and family arriving for seating at 10:45. The p.m. ceremony will begin at 1:00 with an arrival time of 12:45. Refreshments will be available in the parlor following the ceremony. We hope everyone can attend and help celebrate the children’s accomplishments.
Our final event of the year will be a picnic for all 4-year-old classes at Young’s Jersey Dairy at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 28. You may bring your own lunch or purchase something from the restaurant. We will be taking a wagon ride and enjoying other activities during this fun afternoon. Siblings are welcome to attend. The cost per child will be $4.00.

Throughout the year, teachers will post monthly newsletters and lesson plans in this section of the website so parents may know what stories and activities are taking place in their child’s classroom. This information will also be posted on the bulletin board inside the school. Newsletters are written and sent home with students at the beginning of each month. Snack lists are also posted. Please read newsletter and check our calendar for important dates.
