April

Welcome to April! Due to spring break, this will be short, but busy, month for us. Our focus letters will be “x” and “k”, our number will be 9, our color is purple and the shape will be an oval. Our value of the month is faithfulness. Our bible verse is Proverbs 3:3, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you…”

In addition to our sharing days on Wednesday, we will be having two special events this month. On Wednesday, April 28, Sue Smith from Five Rivers Metro Parks will be visiting our class and bringing some special furry friends. This should be a fun and educational experience for the children.

Our second special event is SPRING PICTURE DAY, which will be held on Friday, April 30. Make sure everyone brings their best smile to school. Since the students often like to dress up for pictures, we will be doing a simple art project this day.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m looking forward to another wonderful month with the children.
