March

Dear Parents,

First I would like to say thank you to all of the parents who made our Valentine’s party a success! The kids had a great time. They really enjoy these parties and it is thanks to all of you who volunteer your time and/or resources! You are all greatly appreciated A special thanks goes out to Mrs. Stivers and Mrs. Britt for all of the preparation and extra help the day of the party.

Our March focus will include:
Letters: M, G, & Y

We will also discuss dinosaurs, St. Patrick’s Day, the meat food group, spring, & weather. We will do an experiment on magnets this month.

On Friday, March 12th, we will not have regular classes. We will hold conferences for all students. I have a sign up sheet on the front bulletin board. Please come in and sign up for a 10 minute slot; I would like to speak to ALL parents on this day.

We hope to have the Celtic Dance Academy come for a visit on March 17th This should be a fun experience for the kids.

Since our spring break begins on April 2, we will have our Easter Celebration on Wednesday, March 31. Please send in 6-8 filled plastic easter eggs by Monday the 29th. We will use these for our Easter egg hunt. The eggs can be filled with candy or small toys.
