Wow!  The last month of school is upon us!  We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for sharing your children with us.  We want to wish you all a fun and safe summer!

This month, we will be rounding out our academics by discussing the color yellow, the number 8, and the letters B, Q, and U.  We will also talk about Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, summer safety, and practice for our end of year program.  Your child may bring his/her best bear on May 5th to reinforce our letter B activities.  Yellow Day will be Mon., May 12th.  Your child may bring an item with yellow for show and tell.

On Friday the 16th, we will have outside day.  The children may bring a beach towel and sunglasses if they wish.  We will be spending most of our time outside with Mrs. Scheiman’s class.  Please remember to put sunscreen on your child that day.

The church would like to honor the preschool and children during their service on Sunday, May 18th.  We are working on two songs for the kids to sing that morning.  Please plan to join us for church that morning @ 10:15am.

To celebrate your child’s success this year, we will host a graduation program on Friday, May 23rd  @ 11:00 am.  The children have already began to work very hard on their songs.  They should wear their “Sunday Best” that day.  I hope all of you will be able to attend.  We also invite you to enjoy some refreshments with us in the parlor following the program.

On Wednesday, May 28th, all 4 year old classes will meet at Young’s Jersey Dairy at 12:00 for a picnic.  You may choose to bring your own picnic or order food from the restaurant there.  We will then take a wagon ride and participate in other activities around the farm at 1:00.  Siblings are welcome to attend…the cost per child for the day is $4.00.  It should be a very fun afternoon!

Thank you all again for a great year!
Mrs. Shultz and Mrs. Domi
