March

Dear Parents,Welcome to March! Maybe this month will be GREEN, instead of white! Our country of the month is, Ireland! We will be locating it on the map, learning some Irish Dance steps, hunting for gold, making shamrocks, and learning about the history of St. Patrick's day. In addition, Mr. Lewis, Hannah Lewis' father, will be coming in and doinga special Ireland presentation. We will alsobe very busy with art projects, and making (and eating) rainbow cookies. In addition, we will be learning about Palm Sunday, and making palm leaves. What an exciting month

.I will not be having conferences with your child, as s/he will have them with Mrs. Shultz, or Mrs. Scheiman. I will, however, be filling out a simple evaluation for the Early 5's class, and it will be included in the evaluation you receive from their Pre-K teacher. If you would like a separate conference with me, or would like for me to be included in their conference, please contact me (you can send a note in your child's backpack). Thank you.

We have done quite a bit of catch-up on our workbooks. With so many snow days in February, we had some work to do! The children are progressing nicely. I am sending home portions of the workbook, just to keep you aware of what they're working on.

Please stop in anytime, we like visitors!

Thank you,
Mrs. Nelson
