April

Dear Early 5's parents,
Happy Spring, everyone! We will be busy little bees in the Early 5's Class this month. We will be learning about Easter, making butterflies, bumble-bees, and paper plate flowers. We will be predicting, graphing, reviewing patterns, and classifying things into groups. I have a lot of fun activities planned to reinforce these
skills.

I'm sure you've noticed your child is bringing home name worksheets each Tuesday and Thursday. I have started having your child practice writing their first and last name each day, and do additional work that will continue to prepare them for kindergarten. They are all doing great! I have noticed a lot of progress.

We will also be planting some seeds on Thursday April 22nd. If you would like to come in and help me, I sure could use an extra pair of hands that day. Send me a note, if you are interested. Thanks!!

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks for sharing your child with me,
Mrs. Nelson
