Dear parents,
What a busy month we have this February! We will be having a dentist from Small Smiles Dental come in to talk with the children about healthy teeth. We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day, continuing with our Star Student of the week and many other activities. You will not want your kids to miss!
Our Ohio focus for February will be the following…
N is for Nature – Rockbridge State Nature Preserve; Ohio Caverns and Hocking Hills State Park are only some of the places we have to see nature in Ohio.
O is for Ohio - Ohio comes from the Iroquois word Oheyo, which means “beautiful river” or “great river.”
P is for President – Ohio is known as “The Mother of Presidents” because it has sent more men to the White
House than any other state. Presidents from Ohio - William Henry Harrison, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James A. Garfield, Benjamin Harrison, William McKinley, William Howard Taft and Warren G. Harding.
If you have any questions or need more information please contact me anytime (kelleylynnbritt@gmail.com, home # 937-318-8495 and cell 937-235-0327.)
